Message : ons first though...

: 1) Low fluid light on '91? I don't think I've ever seen this on my '91... and I know my tank has been bone dry before... what's it look like and where's it located?

My 91 TT has it's washer fluid tank in the rear. the sensor is imbedded in the bottom of the tank and has the shape of a small tube of toothpaste. It is entirely inside the tank.
If you remove your tank, there are three connectors, 2 are for the pumps, 1 is for the sensor. My 91 TT definently has a low level sensor.
I bought a second replacement tank from Ruzzel for $25.oo which had the pumps and sensor as well.

: 2) What do the accumulator and pressure manifold do?

The pressure manifold senses the system pressure. It is the on/off switch for the pump. When the manifold senses less then 55 psi, it turns the pump on. The HighSpeed injecotor is what "holds" all that pressure.
The Accumulator acts as a capacitor. It ensures that the water pressure that the injectors see is constant. Brad @ KC Saab developed this part. It is very handmade. He developed it because for long duration boost periods, the pump would 'pulse' water out of the injectors. He wanted to besure it was continuous and smooth. I like that aspect of this kit VERY much.

: 3) How does this setup differ from Kojima's setup? (I know he's running 0.7 jets, but besides that... anything else different?)

I understand the M.K. is running .5 jets. I also understand that it was just installed. Thats it. The ECU turns his on based on a MAS reading. Ours turns on based on a BOOST reading. Mike admitted to Damon that he has not done anything else with the kit. He has not tuned it. But his car is not finished from what I understand...
The Boys at DSP installed one on a customers car and Gyro admitted that they had no idea how to tune it. So they just let it be, as is, with the .5 jets. Damon and I felt no difference with the .5 jets.

: 4) Any thoughts on the effectiveness of the system when used in conjunction with upgraded intercoolers? (i.e. perhaps there's not as much of a benefit if the intercoolers are already cooling down the air a bit).

Bigger intercoolers will help cool even more. Since MORE air is able to get through the intercoolers, you have more air to cool.
We plan to remove my HKS intercoolers and replace Damons stock intercoolers and continue testing. No other changes, just intercoolers. But our free times don't jive very well.
The Aquamist website does not recommend installing jets before the intercoolers. This will actually lower the efficiency of the intercoolers.
